Weekly Weigh-in ...........

I seriously need to put on some weight.


I have another clinic appointment due so I really need to sort myself out, with winter approaching us and bringing all the usual colds and flu bugs, I just can't afford (healthwise) to be this skinny.


So, as of Monday 29th September, I'm going to have a weekly weigh-in and hopefully I'll be over the 50kg mark before too long, and if all goes to plan, I won't need IV's. Which, IMO is a good thing.

Well, I managed to put my new toy down long enough for me to make some dinner. Had nippy chicken (thats what Seonaid calls it) Then sat down to watch the X factor.


Everyone else has gone to bed, including the cat, so I'm left playing again. ;)

I have just put in my NG tube so will be off to bed shortly, after a quick game of Bubble Snooker.

YAY!!! I got my wee netbook =]

Went for a wee run in the Wee Red Devil today, only went to Comet to pick up my wee netbook that I reserved this morning heehee.

Then went to Morrisons for Barrys dad, he's not well at the moment so got some stuff for him while we were out. A George Foreman Grill and some juicy steaks to cook on it.

Then straight back home so I could play with my new toy =]

Hhhmmmm, dinner could be late tonight..............

Today was a lovely Autumn day, Sun was shining, slight breeze in the air, perfect weather for a wee leisurely stroll.

My Joints were playing up so even if I wanted to, a wee walk was out of the question.

Chestwise, I 'm a bit wheezier but extra inhalers usually sort that out.

Took some Ibuprofen and later went to see my mum. She was cutting her grass so that made me even wheezier, typical ( rolls eyes ) So I just went inside and played with Xena ( mums wee doggie ) for a bit.

Meanwhile I'm going to surf the net for a wee pressie for myself, I fancy one of those Netbooks, its like a laptop only smaller, ideal for taking to hospital to keep in touch with everyone next time I'm admitted =] ( or is that tempting fate =[ )

Hopefully he'll have another wee outing before the winter sets in. A wee weekend in Southerness is just what we need just now, weather permitting of course =]

Ok folks, I'm new to this blogger thing so bare with me =]

Where to start - Hmmm, well, my name is Amanda ( Manda to my chums ) I'm 35 years old and I have Cystic Fibrosis. I'm engaged to my wonderful fiance Barry, we've been together 9 and a half years and he is my world. I have a gorgeous daughter Seonaid who is 15 and is the light of my life.

Now I'm really stuck (blushes furiously) so I'm going to check out a few other blogs for some ideas, hopefully my next post should be a bit more interesting.
