Saturday Night.............

...................and I'm snuggled on the sofa updating my blog.

The rain is lashing down and the winds are almost gale force so theres nowhere I'd rather be.
I'm heating a macaroni in the oven for my (late) dinner, didn't get home from the football till after 6, after a killie pie and coffee ( don't like bovril) I didn't feel like eating anything but I'm starving now.

I was at clinic on Tuesday, good news is my weight is up since last time, but my LF is down a bit. Docs said not to worry too much as one off reading is nothing to panic about, my LF has been steady recently so I might just have had an off day. They'll see how I do in 6-8 weeks and maybe give me IV's a bit earlier.

need to go now........ovens beeping so my dinner must be ready

Just got back from the presentation night, the patient fund received 489 pounds from the Bowling Club, which will go towards some stuff for the wards.

Money Money Money

In September last year my local Bowling Club had a Charity Day to raise funds for various charities, usually its Cancer Care but this year they have decided to give some of it to The West of Scotland CF Patient Fund. I helped raise some of it by painting faces and having a wee tuck shop for the kids. So tonight is the presentation of the cheque and Lisa our Physio is coming down to accept it on behalf of the patient fund. more on that later.............

I put my Christmas tree up yesterday. I don't remember putting the lights away in such a fankle, it took me an hour to untangle them, but it's done now and looking lovely :) and I've even got a few pressies under it, don't know how long they'll be there for because Benji is showing an interest, especially to the one with the squeeky toys in it lol but I didn't dare put the present with the doggie treats under it ........... I'm not that stupid haha.
Xenas is there too so she wont feel left out on Christmas day ;)

Talking of Xena, she is coming to stay for a few hours on Tuesday as my mum is getting her new Central Heating system installed that day - what is it with the councils, doing major maintenance work so close to Christmas???????? the whole house will need gutted out after they're finished, thats all anybody needs, all I can say is thank god its not me, I'd tell them to come back in the Summer, lol.

Christmas :O

I bought some Christmas prezzies today, woo-hoo, so its officially Christmas time in our house.

Had to smuggle them into the house and wrap them up incase Seonaid found them lol.

I also got some stuff for wee Benji, so I've got them hidden too, Yes, I have to hide stuff from the pup, he has a knack for finding things he shouldn't lol.

Christmas tree is still a no-no. Another week or 2 before I even attempt that, he'll steal the decorations, come to think of it, he'll steal them anyway so I might as well put it up. At the weekend, maybe :)

Benji - 7 weeks old

Benji - 11 weeks old. Think he is getting too big for his bed now lol

Weights up :)

My Weight is up, I'm now 46 kgs My magic pills must be working, I'm even managing to have a breakfast and not feel sick afterwards, long may it continue, I want to get to 55kgs and hopefully I'll reach my goal by the New Year.


Wee Benji is suffering from Separation Anxiety, the wee soul is so used to one of us being with him all the time, I dare not leave him alone incase the crabbit neighbour complains about him barking, its a wee shame, he howls and barks like a maniac when I go out of sight, and you can actually see the relief on his face when he sees you're still there.
So my Christmas shopping has been delayed, I can only go into town if I get a babysitter.


Oh well, I'd better go, Its walkies time lol

Woo-Hoo we got a wii-fit

hehe, it came this morning after months of trying every shop that could possibly sell them, I got an email late on Friday night to say that Argos had some limited stock, so, I ordered one straight away, keeping my fingers crossed and hoping there'd be some left lol.
It has not been off since lol, my daughter was off school today so the both of us had a go to find out what our wii-fitness level is - ha, mine is age 44 (not bad, considering) and Seonaids was 31 :O 15 years more than it should be, :O

Hopefully this will help with my Physio too


oh and btw, my weight has dropped again and I've been started on Olanzapine to boost my appetite, so we'll see how it goes :(

weight is 6 1/2 stone or 42.5 kgs or 93.69 pounds :'(
